Day 176 - A Bird


I have to admit. I don't know much about birds and I don't know the name of this particular one. (I'm sure is an easy one). But, today I was really surprised to see this bird perched on a branch for the longest time without moving. The kids and I got really closed to it and it didn't move or fly away.

    Nice one Olga! What a great capture! It looks like a Mourning Dove (Zenaida macroura). :)

      I think your right Terri, we have quiet a few Doves around our home. The first time the Grandaughter heard it she says to me "I hear an owl"! I do love to hear them coo so peaceful.
